Fixed-flow RTS

A continuous overhead loop that is proven, economical and reliable.

The Innospin Fixed-flow system operates as a single, continuously moving overhead loop connecting your Speed Frames and Ring Frames in a fixed sequence. Full bobbins depart the Speed Frame on the loop, arrive at the Ring Frame creel position, and empties ride back, continuously, at a set speed timed to your average creel depletion cycle.

After more than 60 Fixed-flow installations across India, this architecture remains our most widely deployed. Its strength is that it is simple: fewer moving parts, a compact footprint, straightforward maintenance, and the lowest capital cost of any motorised RTS we make.

Flexi-flow RTS

Train-based transport, the architecture that never blocks your Speed Frame.

The Flexi-flow system moves discrete bobbin trains rather than a continuous loop. A full train is assembled at the Speed Frame, routed overhead to a parking station adjacent to the target Ring Frame creel, and staged there until the creel is ready. This decoupled architecture solves two fundamental problems that Fixed-flow cannot address.

First: auto-doffing Speed Frames. Our Twin Bobbin Exchanger swaps a pre-staged train of empty bobbins at 180 bobbins per hour, a 50% speed advantage over Fixed-flow operation, because the exchanger never wastes time scanning for pairs. With a complete empty train pre-parked before the doff starts, it runs hook-to-hook uninterrupted. A 240-spindle SF completes its exchange in 1 hour 20 minutes, leaving a 40-minute buffer in a 2-hour doffing cycle. Zero stoppages, guaranteed.

Second: dynamic SF-to-RF mapping. Trains can be rerouted to any Ring Frame on the floor without hardware changes, which is what multi-count mills need when they reassign production between frames.

Batch or Creel Flow

Batch creeling on Flexi-flow infrastructure, the path to a fully automated mill.

Batch or Creel Flow is not a separate system. It is an operational enhancement to the Flexi-flow architecture that transforms creel changeover from a manual synchronisation task into a single, fully automated batch event.

In a standard Flexi-flow setup, creels are depleted and replenished one Ring Frame at a time. In Batch or Creel Flow operation, a scheduled batch of Ring Frames is creeled simultaneously in a single automated sequence. The system pre-stages complete creel sets in the parking area, coordinates train movements across multiple frames, and executes the changeover with zero operator involvement at the creel. The result is much shorter creel changeovers, creels that stay full far more of the time, and the ability to change yarn count across a batch of Ring Frames in one planned event instead of a rolling manual job.

Some mills already run Batch or Creel Flow on their Innospin Flexi-flow installations. It is about as far as creeling automation goes in an Indian mill today.

The hardware behind every installation.

Twin Bobbin Exchanger cum Stripper

Fitted on each Speed Frame, it swaps full bobbins for empties hands-free at up to 180 bobbins per hour. The built-in stripper cleans the empties before they return on the rail.

Positively Driven Track Changers

Where a train changes route, an electric linear actuator drives the rail segment to position and holds it there. A train is only released once the point reports it is locked. Learn more →

Cone Transportation Systems

Automated overhead and floor-level systems for transporting finished yarn cones from winding machines to packing and dispatch areas, taking the fork trucks out of the winding bay and reducing cone damage in transit. Engineered on the same overhead rail principles as our RTS product line. The system is supplied with an integrated Yarn Conditioning Plant and pre-conditioning chamber, so cones pass through conditioning as part of the transport route rather than being handled separately on their way to packing.

Overhead Travelling Cleaners

Travelling cleaner units that run above the Ring Frames and Speed Frames, blowing and suctioning fluff away from the machines and the floor before it settles into the yarn path. Specified to suit your machine spacing, aisle widths and clear height, and supplied and commissioned alongside the rest of the installation so the overhead equipment does not conflict with your transport rails.

Cone Packing Machines

Semi-automated and fully automated cone packing lines integrated with cone transport systems. Packages finished cones into export-standard cartons with consistent density, correct count segregation, and automated labelling. Designed for the downstream end of ring spinning and winding operations.

Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems (ASRS) and AGV-based intralogistics for textile mill warehouses and godowns, covering finished goods, raw material staging and movement between floors in large spinning complexes.

Can Transportation Systems

AGV and RGV-based systems for transporting sliver cans between carding machines and draw frames, and from draw frames to Speed Frames. Addresses one of the most labour-intensive material handling steps in the spinning process, the movement of heavy sliver cans across departments.
